Hi :)

I'm brand new to the world of EMS. I start EMT-B training in June. I have been wanting to be a Paramedic for a LONG time, so I'm finally taking the steps needed to reach that goal.

I've worked as a care giver in nursing homes, private homes, etc for the past 7 years so I know I have a true interest in helping people, and emergency care. (I have been trained at a very very basic level in emergency care.)

I'm really excited to start class and feel I will do well with it. The class is only 30 people but we have been warned that half of the class won't make it through to the end. I had no clue that would happen. I've taken many classes over the years and have never seen half not make it.

I have already learned SO much about professional behavior from this site. Which is something that I think is invaluable.

I hope to keep learning and maybe someday to actually have something to ADD! Who knows..

Welcome to the party.

This has to be sarcasm right?

I have been trained at a very very basic level in emergency care.

Now you are going to learn just the very basic levels of emergency care, so don't stop learning or advancing your career!

Haha you made me laugh.

I read a lot about 'drama' and what not and how to fly under the radar. That seemed like good advice to me. Advice I plan to keep!

Thanks for the welcome.
