Hi everyone, i am currently serving in the Marine Corps, I am planning on getting out, in Oct 2016. I am going to try and take an EMT-B night course during the 2014 spring semester, it will be a 2 night a week program. Is this common or uncommon? Also, is it recommended? What my plan is for the future is to get certified, and work for the local ambulance district(volunteer or paid) one day a week or however it will work best, so i can obtain the experience. Then when i do get out of the Marine Corps i can go and take the EMT-P course that is offered at the local Career Center(same place as the EMT-B). I have been reading up on here about what could help me in the future for employment and have read that extra certs and having a background with teaching can be beneficial, is this correct because right now i am an instructor for the school house? Any and all information that can be give will be greatly appreciated.
