injury update

clean mri. just a really bad pull.im back to work sort of. light duty. sitting in my office reviewing the paperwork for yesterday and listening to the radio wishing i was back on the road. this is going to be boring as hell. but at least its work...

Glad to hear you're doing better. At my department, we have quite a few EMTs with back injuries, and we just pair them up with their usual partner and another driver or an EMT student who can lift for them. Is this an option at your agency?

nope, not an option. the only time there three guys on a truck is when there a third rider(as in a trainee being precepted). my company would never pay me to come to work and not work, which is how they would see that set up. also, in ma we dont have guys who just drive. two emt's. this is the only position i can currently work. no chair car, no dispatch, just paperwork. and when i finish the paperwork, wait whats that, yeah more paperwork........

shoot me. quickly. preferably in the head with a large caliber. with additional trans occipital implantations of hot flying lead titrated to desired effect(death)
