Info on 0.9%NS bolus

i'm working on a "research exam."

I can't find the answer in my book or on the internet, and sadly even tho i learned it before, i cannot remember.


You administer a 500cc bolus of NS. After 20 minutes how much of it remains in the vascular space.

Anyone have a lead on the theory for me?

"2/3rds of infused crystalloid fluid leaves the vascular space within 1 hour."
