IEMS ambulance stolen. Again.

For the second time in less than a year, IEMS has an ambulance stolen. Last time it was an ambulance in a hospital bay, this time the ambulance was stolen by an unruly PT during transport.

Why wasn't he hand cuffed?

Probably because there were no police on scene; I did medic school with IEMS (or their predecessor) and we had the police on scene maybe 3% of the time (maybe 25% of the time that we were told to wait for the police). Major city, busy police are short handed.
