I've finally finished with all of it. I'm sure I don't need to list all the certs, tests, cards, and fingerprint checks. Every person, agency, and organization that wanted my money has received my money. I am ready to practice as an EMT-B in Santa Clara County, CA.

Then I hopped a fence and broke my heel. My Calcaneus.

So I have time to read every thread that interests me. There appear to be many such threads.

I'm hoping to bumble around into some good info; am planning on being an EMT, but currently don't know anything & am not enrolled anywhere. Hopeing to get advice, among other things.

Friend who used to be a volunteer fire told me that's the best way to learn- thought I'd ask those who're already in, if that's true.... :c)

I also went to Foothill. Finished up almost a year ago. I enjoyed the class. Dave & Jim probably wanted to strangle me a few times.
I think that there are a few folks in the class that are also involved in the Palo Alto Red Cross chapter I work with too.
