I passed the EMT exam, but haven't worked as an EMT. What do I do now?

So I passed the exam and got my certificate about a year ago. However, I did not manage to do anything with the certification. Basically I thought I was going to get my drivers license back when I took the class. 1 year later I finally got my drivers license because my parents finally let me get one. I know I have to get continuing education credit and probably take an EVOC course. However, I'm afraid that reading my old notes and book will not help me remember the information. Should I retake the class? What should I do so that I would be prepared to work as an EMT-B? What should I do so that a potential employer will allow me to work with them after having a long break since the class and national exam?

Any advice would be extremely helpful! Thanks!

Apply for jobs and take a refresher. But if your parents JUST let you get a DL, you might not be old enough to actually work somewhere as an EMT. Not trying to be mean, but most places require 21+ years of age. And I've seen a few where you have to have 3 years as a licensed driver to work.

What do you mean by a refresher? Is it that like a shortened version that is at a physical classroom? Or is it an online thing? I looked it up and I'm not too sure what counts as a refresher. Also, I'm actually 20 and I will turn 21 in less than two months. So no problems there. Although the 3 years as a licensed driver thing might be a problem.... Thanks for the help!
