I just passed my Paramedic NREMT exam and got a job in the same day!

I just had to tell someone, I'm ecstatic. I took my NREMT Paramedic exam this morning at 0800 and had a job interview at 1300 for employment as an EMT Basic. I found out I passed the exam at around 1500 and got a call 30 minutes later with the EMT Basic job offer with Acadian!

I'm confused. You passed the NREMT Paramedic test, but you accepted a position as a Basic? Did I miss something?

Congrats on passing the test, I just don't understand.

I am certified as a Basic so I will be working as a Basic until my Paramedic certification card comes in, which takes up to two months.
