I just have to say.......thanks........
To all of the people here that have shown me support over the years. I will tell you there were many times I would get upset that we couldn't get the respect on a larger scale. We would teach a class...... people would go nuts saying "Why didn't anyone teach us this before?" EMS Supervisors would make the training mandatory and people had a blast at the courses..........then it would quite down for a while.
I would answer a question on a forum(s)( not here) in a post when someone would mention bashing someone in the head with an O2 Bottle......... and when I said it was a bad idea...... you would have thought I killed someone.
Well....... that was years ago. Now we get phone calls from all over the world regarding scene safety stuff. I am able to debate it with anyone. We have since trained hundreds and hundreds of providers, taught at several state conferences, have instructors in several states (with several more to follow in March) we are presenting at the EMS Expo in Atlanta and the list goes on..............
I say all that to say THANK YOU. You know who you are. The ones that supported our cause when we were not so recognized. You knew my heart was pure and we did it for the right reasons. It is because of that support......... I kept pushing forward, refusing to give up......... even though at times I wanted to.
Now after much prayer and soul searching I think we have everything in place. Thanks so much. If it all works out....... I will see you soon
