Hey, my name is Mike. I lurk on here every now and then. I figured I'd start post from time to time. I've had my BLS ticket since Thanksgiving 2007 and I am currently in medic school at Northeastern. I'm halfway throught that program. I finished the didactic portion and start clinicals on Tuesday.
A little about how I got into EMS. I started as a chair car driver in 2003 when I was 20. I did it during summer and winter breaks while I was at college. I transferred to SCAD and hated it so I dropped out. I came back to Mass. as a chair car driver full time becuase it was the only job I've had for a few years at that point. My company offered to pay for my EMT course[I didn't even ask] so I took the offer. I work for a private in the Boston area and have worked there since 03.
Some personal interests. I don't play music, but I'm a huge music geek, watch indie movies and ride bikes.
