how to know if this is a good fit?..

I was wondering if you guys can tell me types of people make good paramedics? I have just started on my prerequisites (literally won't be done till next fall then have to apply to the program, get wait-listed, switch campuses, good times lol) but I am concerned as I would be in anything that I chose wether this is a good fit for me or not. I went on a ride along and had a great day, I live in De so there is definitely a good job outlook considering we have to be in the top 5 for retirement states and well I could always move if need be. I keep reading what everyone posts and it's great to see the confidence- just wish I could be as confident I'm headed in the right direction.
