Am I the only one watching the Stanley Cup here?
 
I'm watching it too. Even though my team isn't in it, it's been one hell of an exciting final, and friday night hopefully should be an awesome game. No matter who wins.
 
I love hockey but I have to admit that I'm not watching the cup. One of the instructors where I'm taking basic is though... HUGE wings fan. I'm more of a minor league guy personally. I lived in Fort Wayne for a while and there's an awesome IHL team there.

I might leave work early tomorrow to head down and see if I can get any scalp tickets for the game but we'll see. Experience of a lifetime

Isn't scalping illegal??

Depends on your state.

http://www.cga.ct.gov/2006/rpt/2006-R-0761.htm

Eleven states, Connecticut among them, prohibit ticket scalping, which is generally understood to mean reselling a ticket to an event for profit. Of these, eight allow resellers to impose a service charge.

It's not illegal to buy scalped tickets-- just means you might pay more.

I LOVE hockey! I just can't seem to bring myself to watch the final game. I hate both of those teams with a passion!...well the pens would be fine if it wasn't for Sidney Crosby!

The wings are going to take it in the end. Same as last year! Boooo<_<

I love hockey...I like sitting right behind the home teams goal right on the glass. Its awesome. I like sports that are rough and tough! And BLOOD!:)
 
Hockey has the unfortunate fact that it's season parallels the NBA ... that and it rates right behind table tennis in America as far as popularity goes. :P j/k... kinda

I absolutely love hockey, I currently play it at my local ice rink where I used to work.

I did that while I was working their, I was the Ice Attendant at the time(I was the dude who skated on the ice and used first-aid skills, etc) anyway, I went to go Ice a friend and where I did it the ice was screwed up, because of this my skate went through hit the sand under the ice(better ice rinks use concrete) and I went flying into the corner part(its metal) of the door on the boards.

Ok sorry, if I hijacked your thread... Back to Hockey!!!

i hate detroit so much. i'm so glad penguins won, definitely a roller coaster of a series
