Hi all. I am from Beijing, China.
I care about EMS works, and choose to design EMS lighting tools. Though in China it's not a popular industry - manufacturers in this area seldom design things really new.
I hope to hear your story and experiences here. Maybe I will post some intersting pictures or videos about something I get.

No. I design and produce lighting tools.
I also keep contact with EMS volunteers in China, try to help them with my tools.

I'm guessing this has something to do with the cheap knock offs you see on eBay? (not that I've ever looked)

I would be interested to hear anything you can tell us about the way EMS functions in your area of China. Information about EMS there is difficult to come by here in the States.
 
I am living in Beijing, one of the biggest city in China.
I noticed that there is department of EMS listed in the website of many U.S. city / town. Here, we don't have that.
Firefighters are part of armed police, they will handle fire, explosion and other serious accidents. They do most rescue works.
Local governments will arrange resources for other disasters, such as typhoon and pollution. They will build special commanding team from case to case.
