I'm in my first month of EMT-b and am really into it. Last night we were doing our first practicals and watching the instructor release the guy on duty we just strapped in from the spine board when a call came in, and really realizing how important this (be it job or volunteer) is, gave me an even deeper appreciation for what first responders, fire fighters and EMT's do.
I really hope I do well in this class and maybe help someone.
