Well first off hopefully this is the right place to be placing this post. I did some looking around, and this seems like it could be the right place. Anyhow I'm new to the EMT life and I'm currently in school to become a EMT-B. I'm with the local fire department and we have a rescue unit that responds to medical calls; after being on several of those calls over the course of this past year I decided that I wanted to become an EMT. So I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to learning a lot through my studies. I'll be around here probably for a little while before I start actually posting much cause like I stated I'm new to this so I have no idea what to even begin to post a topic on, and with replying to posts I have no idea with having very little knowledge. This is a great forum though and I'm glad to be a member here.

Welcome to the forums, there's always plenty of new stuff to learn on here just by poking around, enjoy 
I'm going through the local college to become a EMT-Basic. I'm going to stick with basic for a year or so and then decide if I'm going to go paramedic or not. Started my clinical time last week, and having a blast with it. I'm learning quite a bit. Sadly there hasn't been any calls worth anything. Just had a transfer and that was it.
