Hello from California

Just found the site a few nights ago and thought I would say hello. I was an EMT in FL and in GA in the late 80's and early 90's and had always wanted to move on to Paramedic but had a child and just never made the time for it and then moved to Cali and never worked in the field here. I got Cali cert in 2001 but only did some youth sports stand bys and never took it further.

Well I finally have the chance to go back to school so I am going to go for it now. Have to start at the beginning again which is fine since I have not worked in the field since the early 90's.

Thanks for the welcoming. I am looking forward to getting back into the EMS field and to rising to the ALS level this time.
