Having some trouble finding info

Hey guys, so I'm currently a full-time student in Irvine, and I'm wanting to do an EMT-B course either down here before spring quarter ends, or over the summer up in Monterey County, where I usually live, and then seek part-time employment as an EMT starting around the time the fall quarter starts. I'm having a lot of trouble finding places that actually offer an EMT-B course, though -- I've done various google searches for Orange County and Monterey County, and nothing's really coming up, other than a highly suspicious two week course from some place called "Unitek," and a company offering courses in places not anywhere near me. Does anyone know where I can find reliable resources on this sort of thing, or know from personal experience where I could find a course? Is the time scale I'm looking at even feasible?
