I am a current EMT B student with Percom and can't say enough good things about them. The flexible schedule works great with my other work/life obligations. My primary instructor has been great and has a wealth of experience to share. The interactions with administration and staff has been great. They have been very quick to respond to communications. As with most programs, you get out of it what you put into it. I've been a hard working student who has done my best to complete according to their rules. However, life happens and I've seen first hand that they try their best to accommodate special needs as they arise. I'd definitely recommend Percom if you're looking for an on-line course. Great news - I just passed my EMT Final and feel well prepared to take the National Registry. But more importantly, I feel well equipped to perform well as an EMT. Way to go Percom!

Thanks for posting. I also had a positive experience with PERCOM.

Who was/is your primary instructor there?

Percom

My lead instructor is Richard Adams. I was immediately impressed with his background: in addition to teaching 24 years, he has a B.S. in Emergency Medical Service and an A.A.S. in Police Science, and field experience as a triple certified police officer/firefighter/paramedic from the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety. I couldn't ask for better! You can tell he enjoys teaching and is very quick with responses.

Have you finished the program? My next step is skills testing.

Is it entirely coincidental that you joined this forum around the same time that someone expressed displeasure with his Percom experience and then used your first post to sing their praises?

I had seen the negative feedback and thought I had a right to give my opinion. While a lot of people seem to thrive on saying when they receive poor service in a restaurant, I like to call attention to the good. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Nothing at all wrong with that.
