Hello, little background about me. i have been an CNA for a year at a nursing home.

What would you say is the hardest thing to learn during emt class?

How do you prepare for blood pressures, patient assessments, and other skills associated with EMTs? I never learned these things in my CNA program. I have very little knowledge.

My goals are to become a emt than go to medic school. Nursing isnt appealing to me.

The reading in EMT class is at a high school level and the math is even less challenging. As for practical exercises, you have an advantage, in that you've already cared for real patients. And anyone can learn to take vitals. Don't sweat it. Just don't start telling stories about how CNAs do things.
