Getting a new Medical Director

I just found out today that as of Nov 15, my department is changing their hospital affiliation and we are getting a new medical director. Fortunately, it is a doc that we are somewhat familiar with, but we will still have to learn his quirks.

The good news is that our protocols won't be changing. All of the hospitals in the county that provide medical direction for EMS get together each year and agree on a standard set of protocols.
 
Are you guys changing to Community?
 
Yes. I think it will be a good thing for us. Just lots of stuff over the last couple years that have happened, but I don't want to air dirty laundry on an open forum. It's stuff that most people wouldn't be that interested in anyway, unless you were directly affected by it.
 
Everyone needs a change now and then. Hopefully it will be a good change for everyone involved. Good luck!
