I work with some folks from the PI's as well as the Carribean, Canada, and Africa. One was a MD in the PI's and is not working as a RN. Thye are as nice a bunch as your run of the mill nurses except for two aspects.

Fluency is a must!! We are always on the tenterhooks of making a comment about a coworker whose English is so heavily accent and their idiom so skewed that misunderstandings occur because it is not thier fault but a function of my employer whi advertises internationally because the workijg conditons are so, uh, spartan. The deputies are not so ashamed and are making pointed comment s about particular people who cannot take or pass on a phone message
