OK..All my studying so far has paid off and the best part about it is my brain doesn't hurt. LOL. We had our first test yesterday. I felt pretty good about it going in. Then we got the tests. All the material I had studied was on there, although, on alot of them, there was more than one right answer. When I finished my test I went out into the galley with the rest of my class and waited. Everyone was asking each other who answered what on which question. Right away I knew there were some question that I got wrong and thought I had answered right. Guess I'll study harder for the next test. Our instructor came out to let us know that we could all come back in now. Everyone was sitting quietly looking at her, who had a stack of papers in her hands just looking at all of us. I'm twisting my hair thinking "God, can it really be that bad". Then she smiles, says that the majority of us passed and that 6 of us made a 90 or higher. She hands out the first paper to a girl 3 seats down from me, congradulates her on making a 92 and the highest grade. Two more papers are handed out. The girl sitting next to me shows me her paper, an 84, she smiles cause she happy she passed. Then I get my paper. I didn't want to look at it, but my instructor is smiling at me so just gotta. 91,HECK YEA, 91...I got a 91. With 92 being the highest score I feel pretty damn good about it. So here I am, I'm happy, I'm passing so far and now it's time to study some more. I have 2 tests next week and I fully intend on aceing those as well. With alot of work and a little luck maybe next time I'll get the highest grade in class.

Take care!!!

Great job! I am sure you will do just fine on the two upcoming tests next week as well.

Good job! That's about as well as I did on my tests when I was in class. Didn't do quite as well on the NR test, but still not bad.

Unless things have changed over the last two years, just remember, when taking the NR test, most of the questions have more then one right answer. When that happens you have to ask yourself, 'which answer is MORE right then the others' or 'which of the answers would I do FIRST before any of the others.' That will probably be the right answer.

wolf, they have changed the questions but not the "One is more right then the other" I finished the NR in lik 20-25 minutes with a potty break but the one question I did Miss I was like "SOB" because it took the longest to answer they all looked perfect.....It was a Pain in the butt

Good job!

I have test anxiety but I always end up doing fine on the test, either you know it or you don't not much faking it you know. I got the highest grade on our 2nd quarter final and that was a good feeling cause I knew I studied my butt off for it! Keep up the good work and remember to read the question, eliminate the 2 that it couldn't possibly be and then answer, then go back and prove to yourself why that is the right answer, reread questions several times that use ALWAYS or EXCEPT.

Big thing is remember the ABCs too.... if you hav no clue to the answer..oxygen ....During my class we had one girl that ALWAYS did miserable on her tests she skimmed through our class by the skin of her teeth

I dont know how many times on the NREMT exam it had "15lpm" on it I really wish I could go back to the classes *le sigh*

Good job just keep in mind sweety the practical has three parts, the best part is if you do bad but at least pass on you repeat the other on or two on your next go it gives you a baseline to focus on and you wont go in as blind
