First EMS Job! Very excited. Tips/advice would be great!

Hello all!

I just got hired on with Cypress Creek EMS in Houston, Texas and I'm excited for this opportunity. I've rode with them several times for Intermediate and Paramedic clinicals and I like their system.

I worked transport for 6 months as a basic then left to work in the ER for about 9 months and I was just recently offered a position as an Intermediate. I'm finishing Paramedic school in May 2014.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I did a few clinicals with CCEMS and really enjoyed everyone there. The company I work for now has some paramedics who do PT work with them and have gotten the opportunity to trial out some pretty neat toys for some med companies. They seem to be very hands on with their training and hold courses such as TacMed at their location. I would take advantage of whatever training they have to offer and enjoy the experience.
