I was amazed and tickled to see that someone finally developed a completely safe motorcycle, one that has all the sensors you need to see EVERYTHING in front of you; here's an early report: http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=21816

Ah! That got me by surprise. I did not expect that. XD I still want a motorcycle.

Now that I've had a little time to play with the metaphor, I realize the lesson here DIRECTLY ties in with what medics do. No matter what level of the game of saving lives you play at, you still better look both ways before crossing!
 
Just goes to show that you can build all the safety equipment you want into the machine, but there is no way to offset stupidity. I doubt any of those fancy gizmos would have helped in my accident.....
 
I can't say I was surprised.... I was, however, expecting to see the whole "what the driver saw" as danger indicated everywhere. Then he pulled out and I just KNEW what was going to happen....

Someone want my bike, btw? ;c) heh heh I've wanted to get rid of it for a while, though- before seeing this. :D

When I first got my motorcycle I almost did something like that. And right after I had to replace my seat.
