Wondering what everyone is doing in regards to new employee field orientation and/or BLS to ALS transition for existing providers. More specifically, how are you handling this field orientation on combined POC departments? I would love to get a look at some materials/program guidlines/etc.

My agency sends new Paramedics (as in new to the agency, not just new to being a medic) to a 3-week long academy, then 1(for experienced medics) to 2+(for newer medics) month FTO program where they are a 3rd rider where a senior Paramedic is there with them on the calls.
Full pay during the entire 2-3+ month process.
