Excited!

I have my physical coming up for the local VFD... then a background check and I get to start riding along and start EMT-B classes!

Just wanted to share my excitement. Hoping to learn a ton


A quick related question- do you folks usually mind when an observer rides along? Assuming they're not obnoxious and don't interfere. I want to ride along as much as I can and observe... but I don't want to get in the way when I'm not trained (I have ZERO EMS training)

i think that as long as you do what you are told then whoever you ride with shouldn't have a problem. now i know when I did my clinicals we got to work on the pt and do alot but thats because you do have a little and i mean a LITTLE training. the medics I rode with let me start IV's on them but not on patients.
