I am unemployeed and have been since October and I have only been able to find Temporary employment. I went to school for Criminal Justice and I want to be a first responder and I have a friend who lives in Georgia and recently graduated from an EMT school and loves his new job. So I decided to pursue EMT training.
Im just not sure which school to attend for my training. Im looking into Sanford-Brown Institute but today i looked at reviews online and found so many bad reviews and I saw on this forum that they are not an accredited school. There is a County run training program that wont release there next training schedule until March. And The school i am leaning towards their next classes start in march. I am leaning most likely towards Thomas Jefferson University. They are obviously going to be an accredited school and from what i read they have a much more indepth curriculum. Also my sister said it would look alot better to employers to see Thomas Jefferson University on a resume.
If anyone has attended the Jefferson University EMT training or has any general input for me would be greatly appreciated.
