I have been in an emt/aemt program since November. We are 10 days away from finishing the basic portion of the class to be ready for the national registry. The problem is the president of the school informed us tonight that he isnt sure he can last that long due to financial reasons. I have been told that for the basic practical exam, it needs to be given by the program you attended but dont think that will happen. Any suggestions on who to contact in GA regarding this? I have paid for the course and was also told if they close I will not have anything refunded. The president blames the state for not letting him start new classes but I imagine the school is not meeting some standards. Anyone no who would handle the schools with GA EMS ?
