Hello

I am currently in an EMT-B school and I'm barely keeping my head above water with the weekly testing. The course uses the textbook & workbook "Emergency Care, 12th ed." I've been averaging in the 80s with previous tests. I failed my last test with 64%. I re-tested and got 84%. With my test fail, I felt uneasy at the start as I was not confident that I had grasped the information and for some questions I just flat out didn't know and guessed; for others I didn't read the question properly and chose wrong.

So I've been cruising this forum for suggestions/reviews to find a good site the will help me during my EMT-B course work as well as NREMT. Sooo ... any suggestions for a site or app that would help with the class and NREMT? I'd rather not pay for two different sites. The sites I've looked at seem to focus on NREMT. Also are there any "must see" YT vids that would help?

Your book. Read it. If you don't understand it, read it again. If you still don't understand a certain concept, google probably has an article or two on it. Your book covers your book, and NR, and you already bought it.

Yes, I re-read the chapters prior to re-testing and realized that I hadn't read properly the first time. So now, I am thoroughly reading the chapters and outlining. That worked for me in college 20 years ago, so I have to go "ol skool" for this stuff to sink in.

As others have said: Read your book. I know, you'll be tired of reading it and it'll probably be falling apart by the time you finish class, but the book truly is the best way to comprehend the information. After you fully comprehend all of the book info, then you can apply it to the NREMT prep stuff.

Personally, I used some EMT-B flashcard book, don't recall the name... And the NREMT test prep book by Pearson, it's yellow. Also don't recall the name.. brain is fried from A&P.
