Hello everyone. My name is Sean. I am an EMT-Intermediate in the state of Colorado working for a local ambulance company. I was looking at taking a Paramedic course sponsored by my company, but came to learn that there is a transition option to go from EMT-I to NRP without quite so much hassle. The thing is, I have been unable to find an actual course offered by Colorado or any other state for that matter.

Does anyone here know of an actual course offered for this transition? If so, what details can you share with me (or just point me to where I can those details myself)? I would like one in Colorado just for convenience sake, but I am willing to travel to any state to attend the course.

Thanks in advance!

I believe the transition is I-99s to Medic and I-85s transition to AEMT. I am not sure what your state uses so it may or may not be possible. The transition dates are also several years from now. If you want to be a medic take a medic program. You will get much more out of a full program than taking a shortcut class to get your card.
