Thanks

Run while you still can! You have no idea how easy the phase you are in is right now. Wait until you're in the back!

Get a thorough understanding of fluid homeostasis, compartmentilisation, renin angiotensenogen aldosterone as well as cardiac electrophysiology/sodium potassium pump.

Go straight through to paramedic school. You'll have to study hard, but emt-I is worthless skills. You'll be more dangerous with that scope of practice and not any smarter.

Paramedic school will (hopefully) prepare you for the responsibility of more than just BLS.

The only reason I'm getting my intermediate is because I missed all of the deadlines for the program that i wanted to be in.

And i say that with the full education of being a nurse and having had the education to completely evaluate the skills I learned studying EMT-I.

The education is SORELY lacking. I feel that anyone with anything less than a paramedic/nursing/respiratory therapist education should not be able to perform ALS.

Got it, got it, got it, and got it...what is this thread about again? Those are easy topics if you have spent the last two months studying to take the MCAT.

First things first- Are you taking I-85 or I-99?
