The state I worked in previously excepts the 85 curriculum (NH), the state I’m looking into possibly working in VA has a EMT-Enhanced and a EMT-99 my question is there such thing as a transition course I may possibly take in order to work a 99?

I'm not quite sure. I kind of figured they would of 'Grand-fathered' all the 88's in with a bridge program of some sort. Not quite sure though, Indiana doesn't use many EMT-I's.

I live in VA and ive never heard of a bridge program, not saying that it doesnt exist, i just have never heard of one.

Ive also never seen and EMT Enhanced around here, i think that might be something that some of the smaller agencies use in rural VA. If you are planning on relocating to the Northern VA area i wouldnt waste my time with the Enhanced cert (not even sure where you would get that around here). You wont get hired on in any of the major counties. Only I's and P's get the jobs.
