This is my first post so any feed back on format is totally welcome...

This is what I need help with:

I am a student that took a EMT course at my community college. They gave me a "course completion certificate" which is valid for 2 years. I kept putting off the test with the NREMT and now I have about 5 months left on my certificate. My goal is to take the test this summer.

Here is what I have done so far:

- fully reread the textbook and maintaining the information with test banks and flash cards

- taking "CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer" by Red Cross to renew my CPR cards.

- Still have my account at NREMT with the verification from my college instructor. From what I see, It says I only need to pay the $70 to take the test...

Is there anything else I should be looking into doing before taking this test or possible hurdles I'll need to jump through since it's been so long?

If you know of this question being answered in another thread or have a link, that would be a great source too.

thank-you for your time.

do a search on the forum on nremt & education...
