Hello everyone!

Threads like this probly get posted all the time, and for that I apologize

But anyways, I am starting my Basic class on Monday morning and I am beyond excited for it! I want to eventually become a FF/Medic. I am currently a cadet for a local fire department and get to do ride-alongs very frequently so I already know the basics of how EMS works (patient assessment etc). If anyone has any tips at all on my upcoming class or words of advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Background check is done and I am officially an EMT. Very exciting day for me.
I am seriously considering taking Advanced in August. I want to eventually be a medic.

Advanced or not? That is the question.
