EMT-B Schools in Texas

Hi guys! I´m new in the Forum first of all sorry if my English is not very good writing im from mexico so somethings i write strange.

I´m EMT-B here in Mexico, but i want to go tu US. to revalidate or do again EMT-B and continue studying EMT-P, i´m searching schools in Texas preferably in cities like McAllen, Laredo or near that area, i found in web that are community college, and i find to some academy, do yo can help me to know which is better, i know in other post that are some schools that are note accredited in the web site of caahep. And if you could recommend some school or training program, and give me some recomendations or somethng :unsure: I greatly appreciate.

you can check out percom online. I am taking my classes through them and they are wonderful. They are a hybrid course. You do the lecture portion on line, then you have to do skills testing and clinicals in person. Their website is www.percomonline.com.

The CAAHEP only accredits Paramedic programs so you don't have to worry about that at the moment. However, I would think that accredited paramedic programs would typically provide a quality basic course.

The best thing you can do is to find the national registry exam pass/fail statistics on the DSHS website. I'm not going to go into a spill about how the exam isn't a marker for a quality EMS, as it has been beat to death already.
