Hey everyone. This is for those that have gone through the EMR course, preferably in BC and even more preferably at JIBC. I have a question for you guys: My cousin is planning on taking his EMR via Justice Institute of BC this summer and had a couple of questions. I said I would ask around, I am an EMR but since my course was run differently than his will be (i.e. I had two people in my class and the instructor became very relaxed at that point and didn't mind much about anything as long as we completed all the requirements and were serious when it came down to crunch time for the finals) I was curious if you could answer some of them, as I didn't feel right doing it. I'm sure some schools have different protocol, but in general: Did you bring any equipment to your course (i.e. stethoscope, trauma shears, BP cuff, CPR mask, etc)? Did you have to wear a uniform of some sort? What kind of equipment was provided when you took the course (I think he want's to know if he gets to take home any cool equipment) and if you had any suggestions regarding studying or the final exam(s)/practicum(s). Thanks very much in advanced. JB
