Anyone know anything about the EMPACT class? This is its website. Not much on there.

I've never taken it. It's a competitor to the AMLS class. When NAEMT changed publishers and authors for the AMLS course, the original publishers and authors developed EMPACT to compete with AMLS.

If you're about to start medic school next month, I'd hold off on an EMPACT or AMLS course. Get about a year's experience functioning as a paramedic and then you'll have had some calls under your belt where you can really fine-tune your assessment skills.

It is part of the course. I was just trying to learn more about it since I had not heard of it. I have been doing more research and it seems there is some bad blood between EMPACT and NAEMT. Either way. Looking forward to the program!
Other alphabets that are apart of the class are: PHTLS, PALS, and ACLS.
