Does anybody know any good EKG websites. One that offers different EKG rhythms and their names. I'm starting a EKG interpretation class, and I really want to be good at interpreting them.

To whet your appetite I recommend SkillStat's 6 second strip generator.

If you use this as a guide for knowing the most basic of rules, you're fine.

If you use this as a guide for knowing rhythm interpretation...you'll be unprepared.

Know your rules, practice them with SkillStat, then graduate to a good textbook/website combo. I like Garcia's Art of Interpretation Arrhythmia Recognition (you can throw Dubin's in the trash where it belongs) coupled with the Alan E Lindsay ECG Learning Center.

Once you're into 12-Leads you can move on to Harvard's WaveMaven, where you should be able to handle anything 3 stars or less.

Harsh! My original Dubin's really explains cardiac electrophysiology and wave morphology well. Best resource I ever used!

One of the two local paramedic programs uses Dubin and the other uses Garcia. One has proficient students, one does not.

(The local online paramedic program recommends it too, but it would be unfair to Dubin to lump their proficiency in with classroom students.)
