Mephedrone is commonly called a "Pond Cleaner" in an effort to comply with the Federal Analogues act, as well as to keep the FDA from banning them.. Just as JWH018 and Peruvian Torch are sold as "incense". There are about 2,000 other substances and analogues in existence that fall into this category, a few of which are (MDAI, Methylone, 3,4-methylenedioxypyrovalerone, alpha-methyltryptamine, 5-IAI, Dimethocaine, Methoxetamine, 2ci-halo, and many more)... This class of drugs is known on the street as RCs, aka Research Chems.. These are chemicals that have no medicinal value created for the sole purposes of recreation, many of these chemicals go on to become Schedule I substances.
Some of the most popular research chems (before they were made schedule 1) were 2cb, 2ct-7, and GHB.
