Up until now (maybe) Missouri did not have EMT-I, just B,P's. I was wondering if anyone knew if they where now offering EMT-I in the state of Missouri. My question is brought up because I went to NREMT an looked up "Locate a Practical Exam" an clicked on our state; at the bottom where is says "Choose Level" I do not see Basic! I did hear a rumor that they were getting rid of Basic's, an accepting EMT-I's only!! My husband needs to retake his practicals, which is why i stumbled upon this. But this would be a disadvantage for me right now, as I just graduated in July, when I could have just went straight to intermediate!! If this is true, can I still go to paramedic school, or would I have to go to EMT-I, then medic??
Sorry if this question does not make sense!!!

The Basic skill stations tend to be done in the basic class, and in refreshers.

I and P skills are the ones where you tend to have to look for a testing location, but some schools are their own testing center for the skills.

I think in Missouri, (because we had to go to an pay for our pratical testing) they just sign u off in class. And then you have to go, pay, and pass the praticals before you can move on to your CBT for NREMT. Which is what I did as well.
