So last year I attained NREMT certification as a basic but have been out of practice since my clinical runs. After having completed the EMT course, I felt confident in the skills I had been trained for but I feel as though I know little to nothing of medical related health complications that fall outside of the ABC's, such as diseases, disorders and the like. I'm interested in learning more of complications of a less typical nature than say, COPD and diabetes but I'm having trouble finding material centered for emergency care.
A website, books, online courses.. hell even a list of subjects for me to soak up would be fantastic.
