A quick bit of Hx, I was working all summer full time for the ambulance service here in town, I decided to go back to college full time. Due to, who knows what issues in the company and per a fairly new policy, since I was in a full time spot, if I wanted to move to part time status I had to resign and request to stay part time. Long story short. I wasn't kept on part time. I have recently come into a potential job opportunity at a Phase I drug research facility where they are testing on people. My contact was telling me they are looking for ACLS certified people to basically stay over night with them. Also, that they will possibly be staffing paramedics there from now on. That said, who out there has experience in a similar situation, working in a non-traditional setting like a research facility. I've had the CCU, ER, field, flight experiences in school, but nothing like this before. What kind of experiences have you had there and with how you fit into the "team" there? How did it/is it going for you?
