[Lifeguards For Life]

Does anyone have any experience volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentoring organization? I am considering volunteering here in the fall, and welcome any stories, advice or opinions anyone wishes to share.

I normally get paid to work with problem children lol. I don't know much about the organization, but my other job deals with at risk children so it's similar.

Hey there, nice to see someone interested in helping out. I have not personally volunteered but after I went to college my dad got involved with them. He is a big brother to a boy without a father and has played a big part in his life. They do activities, go to events, and just do normal things. I have seen the positive effects it can make on the child's life and think it is a great program.
