AZ No Longer Requiring Clinical Rotations for EMT Students?

I was in a BCLS refresher class this morning, when I overheard that AZ is no longer requiring clinical rotations for EMT students. Instead students will have a day of scenarios called TPM or Trauma Patient Management.

Does anyone know if this is true??????

it was the state, the program required 24hrs.
