Shocking that this fine city is having problems yet again with their heroine batches...

Most agencies probably have sent out this memo already... but just in case:

Subject: Heroin-Fentanyl Combo

Lynn continues to experience a significant increase in heroin OD’s. Today, we had one fatal OD, (the victim still had the needle in his arm), and (2) non-fatal OD’s. We also received information today that the heroin in Lynn may be cut with Fentanyl. Fentanyl is (80) times more potent to heroin and resistant to Narcan. This may explain why it is taking (6) to (8) doses of Narcan to revive some people. I have been able to arrange for an expedited analysis of (3) recent samples of heroin that we have recently recovered. Hopefully, I can obtain the results quickly, which will show the percentages of substances contained in the samples. I will forward the information when I receive it. Just doing some research, in 2006, scores of people died across the US from Fentanyl-Heroin combination OD’s.

If you could also pass on to EMS personnel and medical facilities who may be treating the parties who OD.
