Anybody using the ResQGARD?

The ResQGARD ITD 7 is supposed to work like the ResQPOD, but in spontaneously breathing patients, raising the blood pressure. I have plenty of doubts about the usefulness of this expensive device, but I wanted to hear if folks have had personal experiences with it.

We had it when I was at Cypress Creek EMS near Houston. I never had a patient who met the criteria for it.

Ditto. Dont see the need.

Yeah, my basic take on it is, if you are well enough that the ResQGARD is indicated, you are healthy enough to not need it. And vice-versa.

I agree with Bracket. If I have a pt that is well enough to use the ResqGard then they probably won't need it. It's one of those things that won't hurt them, but not necessarily required and doesn't really change outcome that much.
