Any New Jersey EMTs, Fire Fighters, or Paramedics? (Morris County Area, in Roxbury)

I live in NJ and was wndering how many NJ EMTs there are on here.
 
Not in NJ yet but will be there sometime around april after I finish paramedic school here and take the nr! I will be going to the Jackson area. Paramedic school in NJ cost alot of money, cheaper here in NC, and you dont have to work as b for a year to get in the program!

Sweet. I honestly just wish I could just get into the program right now. I literally feel like crap. I had to goto school today, and I was disey all day, running a temperature, and my throat was hurting really badly. I kept falling asleep. And I can't take it.
 
Currently a NJ EMT-B and a Paramedic Student. Loving every second of Paramedic school so far and can not wait to start clinical.

About the cost of Medic School: Is your program an A.A.S. program? How many hours of clinical do you get? Is it just ER and truck time?

Those of you coming from out of state will have to get a Probationary Cert. and will remain probationary for quite some time. NJ wants to make sure that you can play by NJ's rules. Also, start contacting MICU projects now. You will need to be affiliated/sponsored as well. Good luck.
 
clinical hours are 635 hours, spilt between hospital(251) ambulance (384). Total class hours is 680, we start clinicals in Nov and finish them in March class is over April 1!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Okay, you guys are soo lucky. I'm jealous, I want to get in with the program so dang badly. I have a year, or two before I can though. D= Wish i could now, I'm like, running a pretty high temperature, at the movies, my friend felt my forehead, it was hot. In the movies, I was still hot, and I could barely swallow any drinks, or anything. D=
 
The wait will be worth it.

Go see a doctor! Go home and rest until then. :)
