An introduction from South Carolina

Good day or evening, folks.

I just wanted to introduce myself before posting (mostly "lurking") around the EMTLife forum.

I currently reside in Columbia, SC, where I am enrolled in an EMT-B course starting next week. I was in the Army for several years and have been doing a little security work overseas lately. I am looking for a career change and have always been interested in emergency/combat medicine. I have a lot of high hopes and anticipation. I am very much excited about this new opportunity, and I look forward to meeting a lot of great, new people.

READ your STATE protocols is a good start! But bear in mind that if you are taking the NREMT it may not apply to SC....but read the protocols for SC it will help you down the road!
