I work as a medic for an oilfield safety company in Saskatchewan. We have a couple of employees who hold an Alberta EMR certificate. Does anybody know
any regulations on that, or where would I go to find out if they are allowed to
practice in Saskatchewan?

do you mean as far as working as an EMR in Sask? if that's what you mean, i think this is what they need.

Affiliation with an Ambulance service
CPR "C"
and quick inservices on Mechanical aids to breathing, and lifting and moving.
As well as a Class 4 license.

As i said, i'm not too sure, but i'm pretty sure that's what they need.

Your best bet would be to contact Merv Tippe at Sask Health. PM me if you have any questions, or would like the number.

I worked industrial in Alberta for a few years. We frequently had OFA IIIs from BC working. But, only if they also had EMR registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics. Each province has their own set of regulations regarding EMS requirements. I would suggest finding those and reviewing the requirements needed to practice.
