Going for my inital interview for Volunteer ambulance corps. Suggestions?

There should be nothing wrong with this. When I went to volunteer, I wore something along these lines. They are usually more interested in why you want to do ride with them. Just be yourself and you should be fine.

    NJ EMS and EMS Supplies

If you're looking for supplies in North Jersey, you can try V.E. Ralph in Kearny. The supply alot of the ambulance services up here. As for clothing and such, you can try Atlantic Uniforms. They have a pretty decent location in Newark and also a small store in Belleville.

    Blogging, worse then you think!

An ex co-worker of mine once said "If it's put in writing, than there is always a record of it." No matter what we say on IM, text messenger, blog, etc., if something is said that can insult a patient, co-worker, company, etc., then it can come back to bite you one day...even years later. On...

    Looking for employment?

I would say that the best thing is to do some research. Ask local EMT's that may have worked for a particular ambulance company....see if they can tell you how they treat their employees and what the average starting pay is so that you have some idea, and so forth.

OK...Here we go: 1 - Rich Girl by Hall & Oates 2 - I don't travel much. Prob the furthest I've been is Florida. It was nice there except for when a dead Armadillo bumped into me when I was swimming at the beach. 3 - I did not go to my senior prom. Wasn't allowed to because I got into...

    What's your hobbies

I have a few hobbies (when I actually have the time). I enjoy photography...usually of scenery or railroads / trains (hence my s/n). I also enjoy getting up to either Bear Mountain (NY) or Ramapo Reservation (NJ) for some day hiking. And I cannot forget hitting the roulette wheel in AC when...
